Conversion of Properties

The conversion of properties formerly used for military or mining purposes into residential or commercial properties or for other purposes has gained significance in recent years, in part due to the shortage of public funds.

The idea is to use properties that are no longer needed for their original purposes in the best possible way in terms of economic benefits and urban development. Such re-dedication projects involve a complex web of different interests that must be carefully balanced.

Many different legal challenges arise in this context, in particular issues of construction and planning law as well as environmental law. We help project participants overcome those challenges by addressing all possible legal aspects in consideration of the relevant political and economic parameters.
